  Every tick I have sent in has been received and tested quickly. Testing all engorged ticks we find on family members is a key part of our tick protocol as we are in an area with high incidence of Lyme disease and very abundant deer ticks!

  As soon as we got the tick out of my back, we found TickCheck online, bagged it up as directed, and sent it to them. It took a week and a half or so to get the results, but the wait was well worth it; they determined that the tick did not harbor Lyme disease, which was an extreme relief. A day or two after sending the tick off I visited my doctor, who prescribed a cautionary round of antibiotics. Altho it turned out to be unnecessary in this case, I couldn’t be happier with the choices I made, and the peace of mind both actions provided.

  Thank goodness for TickCheck and the service they provide. I live in an area with completely incompetent health care who had no idea what to do when I went to them with a tick bite, wanting to have the tick tested to see if it was carrying Lyme.
