Lyme disease, the most common tickborne disease in the United States, can cause fever, headache, fatigue, and a characteristic skin rash called erythema migrans. If left untreated, infection can spread to joints, the heart, and the nervous system.[2]
TickCheck™ can determine with 99.99% accuracy if the tick that bit you carries Lyme or 10 additional tick-borne diseases. Here's how it works:
Symptoms of Lyme appear days or weeks after the initial bite. Only tick testing enables you to determine if you were exposed to a tick-borne disease before symptoms ever appear, allowing you to discuss proactive treatment options with your doctor. Get your tick tested now!
Lyme disease is the most common disease transmitted by tick bites, and Virginia is a high-risk region. Symptoms commonly mimic influenza and arthritis, and may develop into serious neurological or cardiac conditions.

Quick and easy to send the tick and get results quickly. Very trustworthy--I have had a tick tested 3 times and was always happy with the process. One suggestion - let people know UPS will not accept any package containing an insect, so I sent it by regular mail.
I was very impressed with how quickly and seamlessly the process was. It is expensive to ship (overnight) and test, but within 4 days I had results, both via text and email, and the email had a printable report that I could share with the PCP. I will be using this service again should this happen to us again.
Thank you for this wonderful service you offer! I have PTLDS so when I found an engorged tick on myself I was horrified. The quick turnaround gave me peace of mind knowing I won't have to be dealing with acute symptoms again. As vigilant as we are in checking, the ticks are so numerous here we will most likely be utilizing your testing again in the future.
I was bitten by a tick that I must have picked up in our back field. I found the tick on me hours after I was out there, and it was the first time I've ever seen one of these small deer ticks. I had heard that this was the type of tick that was most often prone to carry the bacteria that cause Lyme Disease. I mailed the tick from Indiana on Monday and by Friday the same week I received the results from TickCheck. Although I still will be on the alert for Lyme Disease symptoms, the negative results gave me some peace of mind. I was happy with the fast analysis.
Worked out great. Followed all the steps to get it mailed Received text along the way with at was happening. Simple report that I could understand. Thanks for the great service.
