Bitten by a tick? Find out if it carries Lyme disease!

About Lyme Disease: Lyme disease is the most common disease transmitted by tick bites, and Virginia is one of the highest-risk states. Symptoms commonly mimic influenza and arthritis, and may develop into serious neurological or cardiac conditions.

Who are we? is a collaboration with East Stroudsburg University's Northeast Wildlife DNA Laboratory in Pennsylvania.

We're a full-service University DNA laboratory, and have been testing ticks since 2006. And since 2014, we've tested 342 ticks from Virginia, and much more nationwide. Have questions? Give us a call at 1-866-713-TICK!

Very pleased with the service provided. I was particularly impressed that they called to tell me the species of the tick and recommend a different test than I had ordered. It was not a more expensive test it was a more appropriate test for that species.
